MEET CAPTAIN AMY COOPER (SETTER)

PERSONAL GOALS FOR 2011
My goals for 2011 are to get all A’s in my classes. I also want to become very involved at school and make a difference.
BEST VOLLEYBALL MOMENT OF MY CAREER THUS FAR
Beating the number one team in our division last year at County College of Morris in our division tournament while being the under dogs

HOPES FOR THIS VOLLEYBALL SEASON
To have a season where we have laughs but still work extremely hard and of course win.

HOW I GOT INTO VOLLEYBALL
I started playing volleyball in sixth grade. My parents played volleyball and got both my sister and I interested in playing. We played on a recreation team. My entire family is a volleyball family. My parents, my uncle, my siblings, and even my grandfather played some when he was younger. I give all the credit to my dad though. He really got me started and has pushed me to get to where I am.

HOBBIES
I love being with little kids, especially when they can run and play outside. My favorite hobby though is Country Line Dancing. I learned when I was 7 years old from my grandfather and am teaching the next generation now. I also like playing card and board games as well as I love to sing while my dad plays his guitar.

FAVORITE MOVIE
The Blind Side

FAVORITE SONG/MUSIC
Country Music/ You by Chris Young

FAVORITE ATHLETE
I do not really have a favorite athlete, I usually don’t watch sports on television, I would rather be outside participating in them.

PLANS AFTER GRADUATION
Move down to Lake Anna Virginia and begin teaching. I am hoping to go back to school to receive my Autism degree which is what I would truly want to do.

WHERE DO I SEE MYSELF WHEN I TURN 30
I see myself married with possibly two kids. I most likely see myself fostering a child or maybe more as a continue through my life. I see myself in a water access home on Lake Anna with the rest of my family living nearby.
