CSE SOARS PAST EXPRESS FOR 19TH WIN

Saint Elizabeth picked up its record setting 19th win, raised their record to 5W-5L in the NEAC and extended their winning streak to 7 games, best in program history, with a 25-19, 25-14, 25-21 victory over the Wells College Express.

The Eagles pounded out 27 kills for the match and were in control from the onset of each set.  Subhana Wrights and Katie Cooper led the team with 19 kills as the team relied on their efficiency to stymie repeated Wells College runs (Wrights .375, Cooper .200).

From the service line, the duo of Jenae Goodson and Nashly Sokoli led the Eagles with 7 of the team’s 11 aces while Rachel Hausler and Amy Cooper had 10 digs each defensively and Amy led a balanced offense with 23 assists.

The Eagles take on the Wildcats of SUNY IT in their last match of the day at Lancaster Bible College as the squad tries to extend their winning streak to 8 games and also push their record setting NEAC wins record to 6.
