RAVENS NO MATCH FOR EAGLES

The Screaming Eagles stepped up their game against the Rosemont Ravens to keep their hopes alive for a .500 season and a possible post-season berth.  CSE also inched 1 win closer to tying the school record for number of wins.

Rosemont couldn't deal with the Eagles' serving and attacking game as the Eagles pressured the Ravens from the initial point and took control of each set early and never let up.  Kareemah Muhammad and Katie Cooper were virtually unstoppable as they hit for 15 kills a piece while Subhana Wrights continued her steady play out of the middle adding 8 kills and 2 blocks to the cause.  Chanice Sears was steady as ever defensively as she added another 2 blocks to her season total.  Rachel Hausler was a perfect 22 of 22 in serve receptions and added 23 digs to anchor a near perfect passing game in a 25-17, 25-13, 25-13 win.

The Eagles' record now stands at 10W-12L, 1 win away from tying the school record of wins.  The Eagles travel to College of Staten Island for a midweek match as CSE tries yet again to crawl 1 game closer to .500.
