EAGLES DOMINATE COUGARS TO EARN 13th VICTORY

The CSE Screaming Eagles traveled to Brooklyn to take on the Medgar Evers Cougars and came away with a dominant win over their cross-river rivals.

The Eagles cruised to a 25-13, 25-10, 25-17 win behind a 15 ace effort by the team led by Jenae Goodson and Amy Cooper's combined 8 aces and also by the perfect passing of the back row trio of Rachel Hausler,  Misato Oya and Katie Cooper.  The three primary passers went a perfect 27/27 in serve receive and stymied any momentum the Cougars ever had in this match.  Katie Cooper, Kareemah Muhammad and Subhana Wrights paced the offense with a combined 18 kills and helped seal the fate of the Cougars.

With the win,  CSE jumps back to .500 and is looking to stay at that level or better this weekend as they take on Montclair State (11 am) and King's College (1pm)  this upcoming Saturday.
