Katie Cooper was selected as the NEAC Defensive Player of the week on 9/2 and was a Highlight Player of the week on 9/9 along with teammate Subhana Wrights for their efforts in the first 2 weeks of the season that saw the Eagles open with a 5W-2L record.
This was only the 2nd time that a CSE player was selected as a NEAC Player of the Week.
On 9/5, the Eagles put up 26 Aces versus the Bloodhounds of John Jay College which is now the best serving performance by any Eagle team in the history of the program. Amy Cooper had 12 Aces herself -8 in a row in set 2- which is also the best mark by any player in the history of CSE Volleyball.
